Priyanka Chatterjee - Team Leader - Quality Analyst

I joined Evelyn Learning Systems back in 2018, on May 24th. It was about the fifth month of my Delhi stay, and I found an internship alone. After 2.5 into this, the organization’s requirements aligned well with my goal. I loved Biology, and after completing my MSc., I always wanted to focus on the subject. As I have been a private tutor since my college days, I loved teaching. Through the company, I found a chance to help students worldwide. My then-Team Leader never thought twice before taking me as an FT here. I had to request her once, and since then, I worked as a Subject Matter Expert in a QnA project for over a year. I tried grossing a high volume to help the team; while doing so, my concepts stayed on point. Team Leaders changed, and my project, too, with a promotion to a senior subject matter expert position. Within one year of my job, I was promoted to the position of Quality Analyst, and still, I continued helping my teammates with advanced critical concepts. I fell in love with my work and started considering the company’s success as my own.

This was my first job, and I received praise, promotions, and respect that I never even intended. With COVID knocking on the door, we started working from home. In 2020, just before the end of another financial year, I passed the promotional test and interview for the position of Quality Analyst – TL. It was the first-time team handling and management for me. With this, I developed the trait of empathy and learned how to keep the balance between the senior panel of management and the team members. While in the position of QA-TL, I also audited the team’s files for a few months to ensure the quality of the files. Toward the end of 2021, I was handed over to an almost-new team of Health. Like the team members, it was a growth phase for me as their leader. With such great team members and a capable manager who always believed in me, I have grown so much as a human being and a team head. I was highly introverted and never liked speaking, but the position demanded an effective communication style and strategies. However, the job never felt burdening because of the help I received here from those who were also on the journey of constant learning. Whether it’s my colleague, team, or senior

managers, I feel I have been fortunate. They have helped, healed, taught, supported, and given me opportunities I could only be grateful for. My journey in Evelyn started with a small 2-month internship, and it became a 4.5 years saga of experiences and memories.

Ankit Rastogi - Assistant Manager – Content Operations

I began my career at Evelyn in 2017 as an Intern Subject Matter Expert in the Chemistry department. My team was supportive, especially my team leader, who guided me throughout the internship. During this time, I honed my skills in writing comprehensive content, reviewing for accuracy, and providing feedback to vendors. I looked forward to going to the office every day, eager to learn something new. After performing well as an intern, I was offered a full-time role, in which I worked hard to excel. My hard work was recognized, leading to promotions to Team Leader, Group Lead, and finally, Assistant Manager – Content Operations.

I have continuously learned and grown throughout my six years with the company, thanks to the positive and supportive environment. My journey at Evelyn has been fulfilling, and it inspires others to continue learning and growing in their careers.

Pooja Mamgain - Assistant Manager – Content Operations

I started my career with Evelyn Learning Systems in 2016 as an Intern-SME Biology. During my internship, I learned how to write good educational content. After completing my internship, I was allowed to join Evelyn as a full-time employee. In March 2017, I was promoted to Team Leader of the Biology team, managing a team of over 40 SMEs and completing projects such as textbooks and solution writing. In addition, I have also completed Q&A projects in Biology and Psychology.

As a team leader, I learned how to keep the team together, plan deliverables, set timelines, and delegate tasks to the team members based on their skill set so that everyone can perform well. In 2018, I received the award for being the best team leader. I was promoted to Assistant Manager-Content Operations in March 2019 and have worked on various projects in various subjects. This opportunity taught me how to manage end-to-end project operations and effective client interaction. From a Subject Intern to an Assistant Manager, I have gone through many learning stages, which helped me grow professionally and personally.

Ankit Kumar Assistant Manager – Content Operations

I started my professional career in 2017. I completed my graduation in Biotechnology, but I was

always more inclined toward operating different systems. Identifying the mechanism for how things come into play has always intrigued me. With Evelyn, I got the opportunity to not only determine how things work in the corporate sector but also a chance to implement my learnings. I started as a Subject Matter Expert in 2017. The work during the initial years helped me utilize my subject knowledge to create multiple contents on different projects. Working as an SME, I realized several essential aspects of creating content. The academic content is focused on providing a correct solution and imparting learning for the topic. Spending an increased amount of time on the same task may become monotonous. However, different projects at Evelyn kept the interest to create at its peak.

In 2019, I was presented with an opportunity to lead a team. This marked a new beginning in my professional career, wherein I started understanding the project life cycle. At Evelyn, every member is provided full ownership to understand their task and plan their work deliveries. The opportunity brought many challenges for which I was not ready, but as rightly said, one can never be prepared for everything. The challenges, discussions, solutions, implementation, and execution kept me on my toes. Every new day brought new challenges and new solutions to the old challenges, which made me understand that keeping going is the only way to overcome any hurdle.

Later in the year 2019, I was presented with an opportunity to manage the operations of different projects. I am thankful to Evelyn for recognizing my potential, which I had yet to discover. The opportunity helped me grow not only on the professional front but also on the personal front. The diverse team interaction presented me with cases that might arise on the go and how one needs to be flexible to keep the vision intact. In addition, the role helped me understand that the objective should always be clear and a true leader needs to drive the team toward that objective.

Evelyn presented me with many opportunities to help me pursue my goal. In my experience with Evelyn, it allows every member to grow and progress. I say this with confidence as these are the terms with which I have worked in the team to reach my goals. At Evelyn, one can find their path to success with support from the team and the mentors.
